2012 Homeschool Football National Rankings
In Division 1 (11-man), The Eastern teams show exceptional strength, particularly in the Mid Atlantic Christian Conference. While NOAH enters a new era and rebuilds, Lighthouse Christian, of Springfield, MO is emerging as the Midwest's strongest contender. The Great Lakes continues to add teams and the Southeast region continues to grow.
In Division 2 (6 & 8 man), The competition couldn't have asked for more. Texas continues to produce top-ranked football in the 6-man flavor. California is growing with several new homeschool umbrella groups entering the prep athletic arena. Several more southeastern teams joined in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and the Carolinas. Conferences and leagues are growing in several states!

The National Homeschool Football Championship Series works to develop a rankings formula that reflects: the Freeman Ranking & a Coaches' forum; to determine the NHFCS Rankings. The Freeman Ranking has been one of the most exhaustive databases of prep football and it's accuracy has been established far beyond any other national ranking system. Work is underway to investigate the reliability of USA Today's Massey Ratings.

Homeschool teams that are currently reporting to MaxPreps.com * and are on their teams list, are currently under consideration for the NHFCS.
The Coaches' Forum is a process of communicating circumstances that are not reflected in the accepted statistics that get reported to other databases. This process will be conducted via email or web form.
