Micah Murphy
The NHFCS has designated Micah Murphy of the Evangel Christian Lightning, as the NHFCS Athlete of the Week for Division 2.
Micah rushed 10 times for 90 yards and a TD, but that's only a small part of the story of his impact in this huge rivalry game with the Hope Christian Eagles. He also returned kicks, punts, and interceptions for an additional 160 yards and 1 more TD.
On defense, Murphy compiled 8 tackles, 4 passes defended, and 2 big interceptions.
This annual game, billed as the Sky Bowl, is perhaps as big as any division 2 homeschool rivalry. The intensity of this event cannot be overstated.
Evangel remains the #1 team in NHFCS Division 2.
