The National Homeschool Player of the Week, this week is Aaron Aguilar, of the El Paso Homeschool Panthers. Aaron is a senior veteran of the Panthers Homeschool team, in West Texas. His final game pitted his Panthers against Stephenville FAITH Knights.
Stephenville is the consummate playoff veteran in Texas 6-man football, winning 2 straight national homeschool titles and reigning as Texas Christian Athletic League Champions.
Aaron ran up 148 rushing yards en-route to 3 TDs on the ground. He added 38 more passing and receiving yards, and his many kick returns included a 4th TD.
But on the other side of the ball, 20 of his 21 tackles were solo efforts. It is this kind of impact that sets Aaron apart as the very best performer in Homeschool Division 2 football, last week.
As Aaron hangs up the pads for his high school career, we wish him the very best and salute him for finishing strong.
