NHFCS Athlete Of The Week: Division 1

Our Week 5 National Athlete of the week for NHFCS Division One is Ben Friend, of the then #5 Lighthouse Christian Chargers. Ben's weekend game resulted in:

16 carries for 312 yards,
4 TDs, TD runs of 78, 77, 66, & 11 yards,
A run for 2 pt conversion.
12 Total Tackles (6 Solo 6 Assists, 1 Tackle for Loss
1 Forced Fumble).

The performance came in the I-44 Rivalry event with the then #7 Tulsa NOAH Homeschool. The Chargers dominated the game to a 42-19 final score. Lighthouse got a resulting boost in rankings to a virtual tie for 2nd with Christ Prep of Kansas City; whom they will host on October 25th.
